The School Education Department of the Government of Punjab normally grants authorization to the National Testing Service (NTS) to conduct the Entry Test for Tehsil-Specific Recruitment of Educators/AEOs in all districts of Punjab.

  11. Assistant Education Officer (AEO) (BS-16)

Academic & Professional Qualification:

  • Academic qualification of at least 2nd division from recognized public/private universities/colleges by the Higher Education Commission, Government of Pakistan.
  • Master's degree/BS (Honors) (16 years of education) in various subjects relevant to the respective positions.

Age Limit:

  • The age limit for fresh candidates is 20-30 years.
  • Relaxation in age limit for males (35 years), females (38 years), and disabled candidates (40 years).

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Entry test is open to candidates from all districts of Punjab.
  2. Married female candidates can apply based on either their domicile or their husband's domicile.
  3. Bonafide residents of Tehsil/District will be considered for recruitment against the posts of Educators/AEOs.
  4. Ex-Defence Forces Officers/Personnel are entitled to age relaxation.
  5. In-service candidates must apply through the proper channels.

Reservation of Quota:

  • 3% quota for disabled persons.
  • 5% quota for minorities (Non-Muslims).

How to Apply:

  • Fill the online application form on the NTS website (www.nts.org.pk).
  • Submit the printed online filled application form along with the paid deposit slip to NTS Headquarters.
  • Test fee: through prescribed deposit slip at HBL, MCB, MBL, or ABL.

Important Notes:

  • Result cards of previous NTS tests will not be valid for the current recruitment.
  • Qualifying NTS Entry Test does not guarantee Educators/AEOs job confirmation.

      • BS division or Grade C in Special Education with a focus on the physically disabled field.
    • JUNIOR SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER (MENTALLY CHALLENGED FIELD):
      • BS division or Grade C in Special Education with a focus on the mentally challenged field.
